About Beyond the Bubble
Beyond the Bubble is the third song on Piuma, the self-titled progressive rock album (EP), as well as the full length Born LP. Musically, the recording captures a different sound, compared to the album's first two tracks Universoul and Born; it is brighter and more acoustic driven, with hand percussion and an arrangement that builds with each section. Lyrically, the song explores consciousness expansion and the questioning of reality that happens during one's coming of age.

I smell the warm cement garden hose water
As I run across the lawn with my woofer
The shining sun glows yellow on the yard
Naked and free trying to eat flowers
Four years old and in the back of my mind

Early teens, skateboarding grinding rails
Where we know we are not supposed to go
Feeling more than a sense to explore, at the top of the street
Past the broken glass, under our feet

Pixilated screen and all the trips I've been

At the top of Santa Monica Bay and LA
